Dear Diary,
Well, the family is alright.
I mean Lexie and Melissa.
They are still quiet, but tomorrow that will change.
I'm planning to start helping them become more comfortable with me.
I think that's important.
You can't build a family if everyone is scared of each other.
And as they say, a mother shapes her children.
I know I'm not a mother.
I'm a father.
So I will shape my child and my wife.
I think I will be good at it.
Lexie is allowed to fail, though.
Melissa has no exceptions.
She has to succeed.
I don't think that's asking too much from my wife.
She should understand what I expect from her eventually.
And I have finally died.
Yeah.
I'm technically a ghost now.
Dead.
In the afterlife.
I drowned in the ocean in front of about fifteen thousand people who were enjoying a beach party.
That must have been quite an experience for them.
Imagine going to a beach party and watching someone die.
I don't think anyone expected that.
My body wasn't found, though.
So that's better than nothing.
It makes things easier.
My funeral is in two days.
I'm not going.
Unless I'm not busy.
I have other things to do now.
I'm planning to stay here.
Where I'm needed.
I think that's more important than attending my own funeral.
Besides, I already know I'm dead.
I don't need people standing around a box to remind me.
I'm actually excited about tomorrow.
I can't wait.
Tomorrow I'll start helping them connect with me.
Not just with their bodies.
With their souls.
I think souls should come first.
Before the body.
They say you shouldn't fuck when your souls haven't bonded yet.
I think that's probably true.
I would be hurt if I found out Melissa had already bonded with someone else.
It would break me.
And if it broke me...
I would break her.
Haha.
Goodnight, Diary.
