Police Discover 14 Identical Graves Behind Abandoned House

Police investigating an abandoned property in Ravenport made a disturbing discovery Monday after finding 14 identical graves buried behind the house.

The graves were discovered in a section of overgrown land approximately 30 meters behind the abandoned residence. According to police, each grave appeared to have been deliberately dug and arranged in nearly identical rows.

No names or dates were found on the graves.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether human remains are present.

The property had reportedly been unoccupied for several months, although neighbors say the owner was still occasionally seen around the house earlier this year.

One neighbor, who lives directly across from the property, said she has not seen the woman for approximately three months.

"The last time I saw her, she told me she was going to Heaven City," the neighbor said.

According to the neighbor, the woman appeared to be preparing to leave at the time and did not indicate when she intended to return.

"She just said she was going to Heaven City. I thought she was visiting someone."

Police have not confirmed whether the property owner is currently in Heaven City or whether she has been reported missing.

The circumstances surrounding the graves remain unclear. Investigators have cordoned off the rear portion of the property while forensic teams examine the site.

Residents in the area said they were unaware that anything had been buried behind the house.

"I've lived here for years," another neighbor said. "I never saw anyone digging back there."

Police have asked residents to avoid the property while the investigation continues.

Officials have not said whether the 14 graves are connected to any missing-person cases in Ravenport.

The identity and whereabouts of the property owner remain unknown.
