Havenfall Police Deploy HVA Agents to Kingsmere
The decision comes after a sharp rise in criminal activity throughout Kingsmere, where residents and business owners have increasingly complained about robberies, assaults, street violence, and other incidents occurring with little warning.
HVA agents have reportedly been placed in several areas considered particularly dangerous, with increased patrols expected throughout the day and into the night.
Police officials say the deployment is intended to provide additional manpower while officers attempt to identify the groups and individuals responsible for the worsening situation.
Residents have reacted differently to the arrival of the agents.
Some business owners say they finally feel safer seeing heavily deployed personnel around their streets. Others remain skeptical, arguing that Kingsmere's problems have become too widespread for a simple increase in patrols to solve.
The three streets most frequently mentioned by residents—Ducansmith, StunnerStones, and Levelseven—are expected to receive particular attention.
Police have not provided a timeline for how long the HVA deployment will remain in Kingsmere.
