Ravenport — A local entrepreneur has gained attention after launching one of the city's most unusual entertainment services: hiring actors to pretend to be stalkers as part of elaborate pranks.
The business owner, Mira Voss, claims the service is completely legal and designed only for harmless entertainment between friends, couples, and online creators.
"It's acting," Mira said. "Nobody is actually being followed or harmed. Everything is planned."
However, the unusual service has caused concern among some Ravenport residents, who question whether pretending to be stalked could go too far.
"I understand it's supposed to be a joke," one resident said. "But being followed or watched is a serious fear for many people. I don't know if that's something to turn into entertainment."
The company states that all participants must provide consent before a prank is carried out, and that its actors follow strict rules to prevent situations from becoming dangerous.
Despite the controversy, the business has gained popularity online, with videos of the pranks attracting thousands of views.
As debate continues, Ravenport residents remain divided: some see it as harmless comedy, while others believe some fears should not become a service.
