Farmer Discovers Gold Deposit
The discovery was made when Thomas Whitaker, owner of Whitaker Farm Estate, noticed unusual mineral formations while inspecting a damaged section of farmland.
"I thought it was just a strange-looking rock," Whitaker said. "I never imagined there was something beneath my feet this whole time."
Officials have confirmed that further testing is underway to determine the size and value of the deposit.
The discovery has attracted attention from mining companies and investors across Havenfall, with many viewing the find as one of the largest mineral discoveries in the region's history.
However, some local residents have expressed concerns about how the discovery could affect the quiet farming district.
"For generations, this land has been about families and farming," one resident said. "We don't want to lose what makes Helen's Fields special."
