Patrol Officers Report Unusual Gathering
According to the officers, the group was discovered during a routine patrol after unusual lights were observed coming from the hillside. Upon approaching the area, the officers reported seeing dozens of people gathered together in what appeared to be a private ceremony.
"The individuals were standing in complete silence," one officer said. "When they noticed us, everything stopped."
The officers attempted to make contact with the group, but shortly afterward the individuals dispersed into the surrounding area. A search of the location was conducted, but authorities were unable to locate any of the people involved.
No evidence of criminal activity was discovered at the scene.
Authorities have stated that private gatherings are not considered illegal unless they violate existing laws, and no arrests have been made.
However, residents living near Edenus Hill have expressed concerns over the incident, with some claiming they have noticed increased activity in the area over recent months.
One resident, who requested anonymity, said:
"People don't go up there anymore. Something about that hill has always felt wrong."
Police have encouraged residents to report any suspicious activity but have stated that there is currently no ongoing investigation.
The identities of the individuals involved remain unknown.
