Dear Diary,
Melissa has been taking leave from work.
I didn't expect that to happen. I wonder why she did that to me. She should have at least told me she wouldn't be at work instead of me having to hear it from Dave.
I like Dave. He's kind and friendly to talk to.
So I decided to ask for a day off too. I'm going home first, then I'll go see Melissa.
I'm really hoping I get to find the café still open today. Unlike last time, when I had to make it myself because no one was there.
It was lonely.
I hate loneliness.
It makes me ask myself what would end it.
But then I remember that humans need connection, and I'm a human. The good thing is, it doesn't really say that the connection has to be genuine.
So at least I can find ways to make someone connect with me.
Right?
I guess it's a yes.
I think this is a good start.
Melissa will be mine.
I'll confess to her. Maybe then we can connect more, because this loneliness makes me sick.
Something strange happened while I was writing this.
I feel like the diary is talking to me.
Not literally, obviously.
But it keeps giving me great ideas.
Now I understand why females have them.
I should go.
I have to pick up some rope and dark tape.
