Entry 23

Dear Diary,

“Try hard to make it sincere,” he says.

That's what she was saying to herself in the bathroom, alone with the cameras, trying her best to smile.

It's nice to see that she tries. For that, I was kind enough to overlook the faint glitches of her fake smile breaking.

Our day was normal. At least, normal aside from seeing her happy because I gave her ice cream.

I was so touched to see her happy. I mean, after all, once you live in prison for too long and someone comes to you and gives you ice cream after five years, you'd be happy, even if it's just a small thing.

That's psychology for ya.

The same thing we did with the subjects whenever we were shaping their personalities.

Well, today, when I entered her room to see her in person, she was already up, which is not normal. And what's even less normal is her saying, “Good morning, Master.”

Wow. That is scary, right?

How would you feel if the person you kidnapped woke up calling you Master, like some crazy hentai anime?

I almost had a heart attack. It made me back away from her so I could rethink this whole Master thing.

I prefer her saying Zee.

So, yeah, I did confront her about that, and I did let it slide. Obviously, she seems to be trying out new things to please me, which is caused by the punishment-and-reward thing and other crazy mental shit going on.

So, since there's a lot of shit happening, I bought her a diary that has a key.

The key for the diary and a vault.

The vault is where she will put her own password without me seeing it.

Yeah, I know. You've got a baby now, and your baby will be used by Lexie.

She will write how she feels and other juicy crap I can learn about her.

And I just remembered something.

The line “fake it till you make it.”

I know she will fake things, but in the end, she will become what she thought she was faking.

Gosh. Wisdom from the wise.

Well, Diary, it seems things are moving towards something.

I can't wait to make her cut herself or start doing the actual experiments. I mean, after all, this is just the start, and it seems to be moving very fast.

Goodnight, Diary.

And Baby Diary.
