Dear Diary,
Today I was wondering why I chose to start with Lexie when I could have started with my lover.
But Lexie is more like a prototype.
And if she succeeds, the lovely part is that I can use what I learn from her to make my lover even more perfect.
More lovely.
More willing to be with me.
It's a crazy thing.
But I think it could work.
Well, back to the day.
You know, today lovely Lexy surprised me in the morning.
You wouldn't believe what she did.
I found her already awake at 7:00 AM.
Ready to give me a good morning.
Until she saw me drinking water.
Then came that bitchy expression on her face.
Obviously, I acted like I didn't see it.
I mean, she spent the whole day yesterday defying me.
I thought she would rather die protecting her pride than give in.
So I made her try to remember the rules while she watched me and Melissa eat nice morning pancakes.
Not face-to-face, though.
I added a little TV in her room so she can sometimes see what's happening and shit.
It's also useful for waking her up here and there.
She doesn't deserve to have a nice sleep yet.
I asked her to bow and beg for water.
She did.
But I could tell she was plotting something.
Or having her little thoughts in her head.
Probably something like:
Let me pretend, then I'll get water.
Pretending will get her killed.
She tried to look as pitiful as possible.
I almost slapped the ovaries out of her.
But I didn't.
Violence doesn't solve everything.
Sometimes there are better ways.
So I gave her a little haircut.
Made her bald Donald.
I laughed.
She didn't.
I don't understand why.
Then I gave her water.
Well...
I poured it on the floor.
She had to drink it from my beautiful wooden floor.
It's well carved, mind you.
Very nice floor.
But she doesn't understand.
Back in the olden days, people drank water from lakes that their fathers and mothers bathed in.
Sometimes some weird kid probably took a shit in the same lake and washed his ass in it.
Then everyone else would start worrying about their butty mess and probably join him.
The point is, I gave her a home.
Water.
Food.
A place to stay.
And she wants to bite the hand that protects her.
But she swallowed her pride.
And drank the water.
Properly.
That was progress.
Afterward, I gave her a piece of paper and a crayon.
I told her to write down her thoughts about the day.
And the rules.
She should reflect.
I think reflection is important.
People don't always understand their mistakes immediately.
Sometimes they need to sit with them.
Maybe that's what Lexie needs.
Although...
I'm thinking about waking her up every hour during the night.
Just so she learns what happens to people who don't obey the rules.
I guess I'll be busy.
Goodnight, Diary.
